The RBFA’s objective is to promote the administrative and sporting organisation of football, as well as its propagation, in all its forms. These objectives are illustrated by the following activities :
 The association’s activities are extensive and cover a range of fields :
- the organisation of national and provincial championship and cup games
- training and assisting referees
- weekly publications on the web site of 'The Sporting Life' and 'La Vie Sportive'
- the Federal School
- youth prospecting
- the Federal Solidarity Fund
- relations with the media
- safety in the stadiums
- promotional actions (Beach Football, national J-Day, regional J-Days, Ardennes Football, neighbourhood football)
- economic and cultural events
- integration and organisation of women’s football and indoor football
- organisation of all international matches of the Red Devils and national junior teams
