Belgium was drawn in the group C of the Olympic football tournament with Brazil, China and New-Zealand. Our young Devils had to face Brazil on the 7th of August before competing with China on the 10th of August and New-Zealand on 13 th of August. To qualify for the quarter finals, Belgium had to finish first or second of the group.
'It is a difficult draw', said Jean-François de Sart , 'But my players are strong and have made progress during the last months. Our objective is still to qualify for the quarter finals'.
